On behalf of the IETS, we would like to extend a warm invitation and welcome to all IETS members to join us for the 49th Annual Conference of the IETS, January 16 to 19, 2023, in Lima, Peru.
The program theme, "Walking the Line Between Science and Industry," will be presented by excellent and inspiring speakers and will cover the following topics:
- Getting a head start—Requirements for generating healthy offspring,
- Great things start small—Building competent gametes,
- Settled in for the long run—Pregnancies and where they take the wrong turn,
- All in the details—Molecular prerequisites for the future, and
- Where ends meet—R(a)ising of the next generation.
There will be a Practitioners Forum, as well as a parallel session from the Companion Animals, Non-Domestic and Endangered Species (CANDES). This year, we will have two preconference symposiums, one from the Domestic Animal Biomedical Embryology Committee (DABE) titled, "Modelling embryo function in vitro: The era of synthetic embryos." The other session will be a workshop on "Advances on reproductive technologies in South American camelids." Both will take place on Monday, January 16.
The start date for the preconference is Monday, January 16, with the main meeting starting on Tuesday, January 17, and ending on Thursday, January 19. Meeting events will take place at the Westin Lima Hotel and Convention Center.
We welcome you all to send in your valuable scientific contributions for the IETS meeting of 2023. The abstract system is open for submissions for the program.
The deadline to submit abstracts is Wednesday, July 20, at 11:59 p.m., US Central Time.
Selection for oral presentations will be based on scientific merit, and priority will be given to abstracts that relate to the main session topics.
See you in Lima, Peru!
